Reflection of last pitch's feedback: The feedback for my last pitch was mostly positive and the most valuable feedback I got was that I did a good job at explaining the use in many different contexts and settings. However the main criticism I got was the fact I need to get more specific with the explanation of my product and its capabilities. I would love to be able to this but since there is nothing like this in the market it is hard to make predictions. Personally I felt like my last pitch lacked a consistent enthusiasm, so from last time I talked about the qualities and uses for my product that I find more interesting to bring out my enthusiasm.
What did I change?: I changed my inflection and added more hand gestures, because I thought that my other one lacked the life of a truly good elevator pitch.
Hello Ethan, overall, great elevator pitch. I think that your example with your mother about the future of phones is a great example of what the phone has become and just making everything easier for us. I think you also did well with explaining how your product will be a convenience. However, I believe you should mention in your pitch about the costs of the product and how you plan on selling this product.
ReplyDeleteHey Ethan,
ReplyDeleteI think it is smart on your part to explain the importance of technology and how far it has actually come. Technology and phones in particular have in a sense “taken of the world” as everybody has one. I think David makes a solid point about mentioning how much money your product would potentially cost. I know after doing my pitch, some commenters enjoyed that. Well done.
Hey Ethan, Overall great job on your elevator pitch. I really liked how much you emphasized the importance of the comments of what you did last night. It was very noticeable to see the difference of what you did last time as compared to what you did this time. I really liked how you used the personal example in your speech as well, and then continued to tie it in to your product. Very nice post Ethan.
